Just writing down my Thanksgiving shopping lists on notepads purloined from fancy hotels throughout the Middle East…

… you know, like the pilgrims used to do.

Come to think of it, I’m pretty sure the pilgrims also groaned about having to make an extra trip to the special American grocery store to get Velveeta, too.

(And yes, I have to translate everything into kilograms / grams before I go to the store, lest I have a mid-aisle metric conversion meltdown.)
