So apparently everyone in America is gearing up for Starbucks “red cup” season. I know this because almost every Tumblr I follow has been like “OMG it’s almost time for fall and pumpkin spice lattes!!!” in the past few days, making me cry inconsolable tears because we don’t get PSLs in Dubai.
Here in the Middle East, by contrast, we’re winding down “Ramadan cup” season with the last week of fasting. I snagged this one today at a totes haram (forbidden) Starbucks that was open during the day despite laws restricting daytime eating / drinking during the Holy Month… note the Ramadan moon and the minaret on the design.
5 more days until Eid and complete daylight food / bev freedom!
